Spacious open plan layout with patio doors leading out to the outside deck with table and chairs for the perfect sundowner.

Flat screen tv, together with a dvd player. WIFI is also available at Gilbert holiday lodge.

Bed Linen and Towels

Bed linen is provided and the beds made up prior to your arrival. Towels are also provided.

Cot/high chair available by prior arrangement for an small additional charge.

Parking

Designated parking adjacent to the lodge with room for one large car and additional parking opposite if required.

Stocking the fridge

There is a Londis and Spar 5 mins away in Tintagel, or the nearest Tesco is 20 mins away at Wadebridge.

Accessibility

Due to the steps up to the lodge it is not suitable for wheelchair or limited mobility access.

Extras Included

A complimentary kitchen starter pack is provided for guests . There are also some books, games and dvds for those not so sunny days.

Location

Tintagel castle is just a mile or so from Gilbert Holiday Lodge. Boscastle, Bude, Port Isacc, Padstow and Bodmin are all within a few miles. Trebarwith Strand, Crackington Haven, Polzeath and Widemouth Bay are also close by.

Beach

Bossiney Haven

A secluded beach with "elephant rock" a waterfall and golden sand to enjoy at low tide. It is accessed down a path and cliff steps from the coast path. Leave the park via the entrance, cross the road and walk through the lay-by to join the coast path.

Walks

Country: Turning left out of the lodge takes you to some steps and a footpath with walks to St Nectans Glen & Rocky Valley.

Coastal: Panoramic views of Bossiney Bay and stunning coastal walks to Boscastle, Tintagel Castle and Trebarwith Strand.

Village and Pubs

Tintagel is a 15 min stroll, or a few mins drive and has a visitor centre, pubs, a couple of restaurants and quirky shops to explore.

The Port William pub at Trebarwith Strand (less than 10 mins drive) is in a stunning setting and offers excellent food and Cornish ales. Boscastle (a few mins drive) has several restaurants and the Cobweb Inn that serves good homemade food
